The Precision Tamp 2 (PT2) is an effective automatic tamping solution for efficiency, consistency and flavour development when preparing espresso.
A huge benefit on the espresso bar the PT2 takes up minimal bench space and eases the workload on the barista. More importantly it means reliable tamping across a variety of baristas and consistent results for the pour and flavour of espresso.
The Guide Levelling System (GLS) autocorrects any portafilter positioned in the PT2, so that the result is an evenly distributed and perfectly flat bed of coffee to prevent channelling each time.
Segmented multi tamping has been built into the PT2, with 1-3 pressure applications available and a range selection from 2kg to 38 kg of pressure that can be applied. This delivers incredible control and options to experiment with two variables and explore the results and benefits this can offer your coffee.
